On-Site Services

During the festival, the Press Centre is located on the 1st floor of the Grand Hyatt Berlin, Marlene-Dietrich-Platz 2, 10785 Berlin.

Opening Times:

Feb 11-20: 9.00 am – 7.00 pm
Feb 21: 9.00 am – 2.30 pm

The Press Office will be happy to answer your questions and provide you with information on-site. Moreover, Press Conferences and Photo Calls are held in the Press Centre where you can also find some of the bookable interview rooms as well as some workplaces for short-term usage (please bring your own laptop etc.).

At the Press Centre you can reach contact persons for the following services:

• General information and details on Press Conferences, Photo Calls, etc. ()
• Interview coordination (Festival Director, juries)  ()
• Coordination of interview rooms ()
• Allocation of special photographer passes for events with restricted access ()
• Fixed camera positions at events, at the press line (Red Carpet) and parking positions for outside broadcast vans can be requested. There is no guarantee of a designated position ()
• Requests for film clips and video material ()

The Head of the Press Office and the Office Management are also located in the Press Centre.

Press Conferences

Television

• A podium is available for TV camera teams.
• Available seating capacities and information on access will be communicated shortly before the festival.

Radio

• Audio splitters are available for recording the Press Conferences.

Photo Calls

• Positions for Photo Calls must be applied for in advance.
• There is no guarantee of a fixed position.
• TV camera teams do not have access to Photo Calls.

Press Accreditations will be issued at the Berlinale Service Center, Theaterufer, 10785 Berlin.

Accredited journalists can use the Press WiFi Lounge located in the Berlinale Service Center on the 2nd floor of the Atrium Tower (Theaterufer, 10785 Berlin). Laptops, tablets etc. are not provided – guests are asked to bring their own devices.

Feb 13-20: 09.00 am – 10.00 pm
Feb 21: 11.00 am – midnight

Please note: Due to the opening event at Berlinale Palast, workspaces with WiFi access will be available at the Berlinale Service Center and the Press Centre at Grand Hyatt hotel on Feb 12 from 11.00 am to 10.00 pm.
