Principal Partners

Uber

The mobility platform Uber is Principal Partner of the Berlinale and supports the festival in the realisation of the VIP shuttle to bring film teams and festival guests to the Red Carpet. For the practical realisation, Uber cooperates with a local car rental partner, through which the required capacity of vehicles and drivers will be provided. For the 74th edition, all limousines for the Berlinale VIP shuttle will be powered by modern electric or sustainable hydrogen technology and will therefore be emission-free. Uber is also planning numerous activities to make it easier for Berlinale audiences to get to the venues and back home.

As an official co-host, Uber is supporting THE BERLINALE PARTY, which will take place on February 19 at Cafe International (aka Cafe Moskau). In the middle of the festival, film teams from all Berlinale sections will celebrate here together with exciting guests from the world of media, business and the film industry. A total of around 1,600 guests are expected at the iconic location.
