Generation Badge – 14plus
The Generation Badge – 14plus is a festival pass for younger viewers who, rather than just going to a screening, want to immerse themselves more deeply in the entire festival experience. Whether you are a Berlinale regular or attending for the first time, whether cinema is your favourite hobby or a career aspiration – no prior knowledge or references are required.
Anyone who is interested and at least 14 years old and not older than 25 at the time of the festival is eligible. Applicants under the age of 18 must submit a consent form signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Benefits
- Tickets for screenings in the Generation Kplus and Generation 14plus competitions
- Tickets for screenings of selected films in other sections marked with the “Generation recommends” label
- Tickets for selected Berlinale Talents events
- An interactive programme of events offering opportunities for discussions and networking with filmmakers, festival representatives and other participants in the programme from various initiatives and with diverse perspectives on film and the festival
If your application is successful, you will receive an order number which can be used as a reference for any enquiries. Once your accreditation application has been accepted, you will be sent an invoice via email.
From mid-January, a Community Manager will be available to answer individual questions and to provide all Generation Badge – 14plus holders with information about the programme and networking opportunities. All participants will then also receive general information about the festival, badge collection, events and ticketing.
The supporting programme for all Generation Badge – 14plus participants will be published on this page end of January 2026.
