Di san xian

Kleptomania
A rough wind is blowing between the dreary apartment blocks of Harbin, a dilapidated industrial city in northern China. In this world of adults, a rebellious boy is struggling to find his way. Everywhere he turns, he encounters emotional coldness, rudeness and violence. Eat or be eaten, just as it was with the dinosaurs. In fragmented images, the film paints a grim portrait of a society.
