Cosmonauts

The parallel story follows three lonely characters – Delfino, Zenf and Rita – on the Pompelmo Express, a phallic intergalactic cruise for singles in search of sex and pleasure. During the journey, each of them faces their relationship with love and discovers how far they are willing to go to get in touch with it, even if only with the tip of their pinkie finger.
Delfino is a naive, chubby character, always dressed in leather BDSM outfits, who believes in the most sincere and authentic love. Rita is an older cleaner on the ship, unnoticed by anyone, quietly trying to get through her daily routine. Zenf is a cynical scientist who boards the cruise for scientific reasons – but he will soon realise that much more awaits him there. A colourful collision of desire, longing, humour and absurdity.
