How nice it would be not to feel lonely. All the others – the squirrels, the snails, the dragonflies, and the earthworms have partners. The banana birds make up a threesome, and even the frog finds a partner in Betty's rubber boots. But Betty has a fishing rod, and an idea. Director, producer and composer Uzi Geffenblad tells a tale of how tedium can be transformed into joy. He is presenting a short film at Generation for the third time.

Uzi Geffenblad

Born in 1964, he is originally a classical musician (French horn) and studied psychology and child culture at the University of Stockholm. In 1989 he began working as a film director, screenwriter, composer, sound engineer and producer. He has lectured at universities around the world and conducted animation workshops. To date he has worked on 36 film productions and has won numerous awards as a director. Since 2016 he has also been publishing and exhibiting photography.
