Gedreht mit verschiedenen Super-8- und 16-mm-Kameras, in Schwarzweiß und Farbe, ist dieser Film der jüngste in einer Reihe von Arbeiten über Sonnen- und Mondfinsternisse, darunter Polly One (2018), Polly Two (2018), Condor (2019) und Black Vulture (2021).

Kevin Jerome Everson hat an der University of Akron sowie an der Ohio University studiert und ist Professor für Kunst an der University of Virginia, Charlottesville. Seine Praxis umfasst Malerei, Skulptur, Fotografie und Film – darunter elf abendfüllende und über 200 Kurzfilme. Eversons Arbeiten waren Gegenstand von Retrospektiven und Einzelausstellungen zuletzt in der Halle für Kunst, Graz; im Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; in der Tate Modern, London; im Centre Pompidou, Paris; sowie im Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul. Er erhielt zahlreiche Stipendien und Förderungen und seine Arbeit wurde mehrfach ausgezeichnet. Er ist das sechste Mal im Programm von Forum Expanded vertreten.
