The filmmaker is chiefly known as a director of animated film. After making several successful shorts, he directed his debut animated feature in 2019 with I Lost My Body. The film won the Nespresso Grand Prix of the Semaine de la Critique at Cannes and was nominated for an Oscar in the category of Best Animated Feature. Pendant ce temps sur Terre is his first live-action feature film.
