How can you identify something as an unidentifiable object and, having done so, put all such objects in order while keeping them unidentified? You can probably create an exhaustive list of all possible traits, features and measurements, thereby developing an intricate system of neatly interconnected parts where every item can find its own corresponding place. Thus, by channelling knowledge in a narrow, instrumental way, you can construct an entire universe that is perfectly manageable and controllable. The question is, for how long can you live in this universe? However permanent and stable such an order may seem, it may eventually crumble when reality outside of the system creeps in, growing like organic matter through all the boundaries that you have created. You may not even notice anything initially, until one day the world around you starts to seem alien.
