Muriel d’Ansembourg
The writer and director has a master’s degree from the London Film School. Her films find unexpected sensuality in taboo spaces, exploring intimacy through characters who are seeking genuine connection in unexpected settings. Her naturalistic work with both seasoned actors and street-cast newcomers results in boundary-pushing narratives that challenge conventions. Her shorts have screened in over 200 international festivals and won 36 awards. Good Night was nominated for a BAFTA; Fuck-a-Fan premiered at Tribeca and was praised for its fearless, honest depiction of female sexuality.
