PARKing CHANce
“PARKing CHANce” is the name used by the Park brothers, film director Park Chan-wook and contemporary artist Park Chan-kyong, when they work together. It is inspired by the idea that the opportunity to work freely as an artist without worrying about genre, medium or profits is about as likely as finding a parking space in Seoul – but is truly welcome when it occurs. Since Paranmanjang, which won the Golden Bear at the 2011 Berlinale and which is being rescreened in the “You and I Are Not Alone – Berlinale Shorts Revisited” programme in 2025, they have made a number of other short films.
