Anngeerdardardor

The Thief | Dieb
Kaali discovers that his beloved sled dog is missing. He immediately sets out to look for him in the small town of Tasiilaq in East Greenland. Kaali suspects the dog has been stolen. Accompanied by his only friend, Bartilaa, he encounters various townspeople and has to face the challenges that come with being different in this close-knit community. Running away from a group of teenage bullies, Kaali eventually finds his dog and steals it back. But he is caught red-handed and flees, leaving Bartilaa behind. When Kaali learns the actual thief is not who he assumed, he must act quickly to avoid losing his only friend. Anngeerdardardor is the first short film ever made in East Greenland. Based on true events, it was created in collaboration with the young people of Tasiilaq.
