Peri’s pride is hurt and he decides to steal Cinelli’s cherished red wing sheaths, the symbols of her perfection. Next day, when Cinelli realises they are gone, she falls into a deep depression. What meaning does life have without her dazzling exterior? As Cinelli sinks into a dark tunnel, Peri begins to realise that not everything in the ladybird’s life is as perfect as it seems. Understanding the toll that losing her wing sheaths is taking on her, he decides to go looking for his neighbour ...
