Lucio Castro

Born in Argentina, the director studied film at the University of Buenos Aires before moving to New York to attend the Parsons School of Design. He began a career as a menswear designer but then returned to his love of film. His directorial debut End of the Century premiered at the New Directors/New Films Festival at MoMA in New York before screening at the Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema where it won the Best Film Award in the Argentine competition.
