Great Britain in the near future. The nation has been dragged into ever more military conflicts and, at school, a class of boys experience a lesson they will never forget. At first they are convinced that the deployment of British troops abroad has no affect on their own lives, but then they receive letters announcing the reintroduction of military training. All at once, the boys are confronted with the harsh reality that their government can and will dictate their fates.
