After 17-year-old Ivy beats cancer she can’t think of anything worse than becoming a Make-A-Wish kid. When her parents send her to a summer camp for kids affected by cancer, Ivy has a hard time adjusting to the rules. But as the weeks progress, she manages to find unexpected friends in an unlikely group of misfits and has a summer she’ll never forget at ‘Chemo Camp’.

George Jaques

George Jaques is a 25-year-old director, actor, writer and producer from South London. At 16, he founded his production company, Athenaeum Productions. George’s debut feature film Black Dog world premiered at the BFI London Film Festival and was nominated for the Best First Feature Award. It was executive produced by David Parfitt (The Father). As an actor, George starred opposite Jude Law in HBO’s The Third Day: Autumn, played a lead in The Serpent Queen opposite Samantha Morton, and a lead in Sky’s A Town Called Malice. Sunny Dancer is George’s sophomore feature.
