The Berlinale has added Art College 1994 by Chinese director Liu Jian in the Competition that will now comprise 19 films.
China in the 1990s: a group of young people prepare to face a world caught between tradition and modernity. Filmmaker and painter Liu Jian returns to the Berlinale with an animated film dedicated to a passion for art and life.
