WCF Day 2023: Funding Cinema Cultures During Crises And War Time
Der WCF Day 2023 fand an 22. Februar in Kooperation mit Berlinale Talents im HAU Hebbel am Ufer statt. Thema war die aktuelle Realität des Filmemachens im Iran und die Herausforderungen, mit denen iranische Filmemacher*innen innerhalb und außerhalb des Landes konfrontiert sind. Zusätzlich widmete sich der WCF Day gemeinsam mit Vertreter*innen internationaler Förderinstitutionen den grundlegenden Fragen der Förderung von Kino und Kultur in Zeiten zunehmender Krisen und Kriege.
