Berlinale Shorts 2026: International Short Film Jury
International Short Film Jury 2026 (f.l.t.r.): Ameer Fakher Eldin, Gabriele Stötzer, Stefan Grissemann
Director Ameer Fakher Eldin (Syria), cultural journalist and film critic Stefan Grissemann (Austria), and artist and author Gabriele Stötzer (Germany) are the International Short Film Jury of Berlinale Shorts. From the 21 nominated films, they will be choosing the winner of the Golden Bear for Best Short Film, the winner of the Silver Bear Jury Prize (Short Film) and the Berlin Short Film Candidate for the European Film Awards. In addition, they will be supporting a directing talent with the Berlinale Shorts CUPRA Filmmaker Award, which is endowed with 20,000 euros. CUPRA is an official partner of Berlinale Shorts.
