Francesca Canepa
The Peruvian filmmaker studied film at the University of Montpellier and camera at the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC) in Terrassa, Catalonia. Her short film Aya, shot in the Peruvian Andes, won the award for Best Ibero-American Short Film at the Guadalajara International Film Festival in 2017. After studying screenwriting at the EICTV in Cuba, she won a scholarship to take an MBA in film directing at the EFTI Centro Internacional de Fotografía y Cine in Madrid. She also directs commercials and music videos.
