Cinderella

“Have courage and be kind.”

Using her magic wand, Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother transforms an ordinary pumpkin into a magnificent carriage and Cinderella’s rags into a dazzling ballgown. But at midnight, the magic will end. Walt Disney’s interpretation of the fairy tale tells the story of a girl who faces life’s challenges with determination, a dream in her heart and a little magical assistance. As part of The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary celebrations, Generation is screening the restored version of this classic animation. The film thrilled festival-goers at the first Berlinale in 1951 and received the Golden Bear in the Music Film category as well as the audience award. Now the film is returning to Berlin to be presented by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ president and two-time Oscar winner (Encanto, Zootopia), Clark Spencer.
