Programme search help page

Performing a search
Using the search box, you can search the entire public programme of the Berlinale. You do not need to write out the full film title and name. The search function is not case-sensitive.
You can also filter by section, venue, country of production, day and showtime. The filter criteria can be combined any way you like. However, the filter search does not allow a keyword search to be combined with a film title/person search.
Documentary forms screened in the official film programme of the Berlinale can be displayed separately through a checkbox in the programme search.

Search results
The main element of the search result is the complete title, followed by all times for the event or film. If you selected a specific time and/or specific day and/or a specific venue, these criteria will be marked as bold in the search results.
The standard results will be sorted alphabetically according to the original title of the film or event. By simply clicking on the sort criteria ("sort by") you will be able to re-sort the results at any time.

You can find a key to all of the icons and abbreviations used in the programme search at the foot of each page.

Buying tickets online
If you click on the "Online Tickets" icon, you will automatically be forwarded to the site of the Berlinale ticketing partner "Eventim". In order to buy tickets there, you will be required to create an "Eventim" account, which you can do during the ordering process. Tickets cannot be purchased through your Berlinale account. Tickets must be paid by credit card.
Once the order/payment has been completed, changes or refunds are no longer possible. The booked tickets can be delivered as mobile tickets, directly printed as print@home tickets or picked up at the Online Ticket Pick-up Counter in the Potsdamer Platz Arkaden shopping centre between 10.00 am and 7.30 pm (Sunday, February 19 between 10.00 am and 3.00 pm) by showing your printed confirmation and ID.
Please note that mobile tickets and print@home cannot be offered for all events.

"Tickets made available today"
During the advanced ticket sales period, a new navigation tab labelled "tickets made available today" will be displayed at 10am, displaying tickets that have become newly available. Here you will find all tickets that have become available online on that day. Please note that this page only displays tickets that go on sale at 10am on the day. For all other online ticket orders, please use the general programme search function.

"My Programme"
With the "My Pprogramme" function, you can create your own customised festival programme. Over the icon "add to programme planner" in the programme search, you may save selected screenings. These will be displayed in "My Programme" with date and showtime. By clicking on the icon in the programme search again or the corresponding icon in the programme planner, you can remove events. In order to be able to use "My Programme", you must be logged into "My account". If you do not have an account for the Berlinale website, you can create one at any time. Thanks to the synchronisation between website and the Berlinale apps (Android & iOS) the watch list remains up-to-date across multiple devices.
