Initiative Partners

ARRI

Sustainably promoting the future of filmmaking and the people behind and in front of the camera is an important concern for both ARRI and Berlinale Talents. This is why the world's leading film technology company has been supporting Berlinale Talents as a co-partner since 2017. In the jointly organised Camera Studio workshop, the focus is on innovative camera and lighting technology as well as their use for storytelling and an extraordinary visual language. As an international player and partner of the film industry, ARRI is also involved in Berlinale Talents networking events and stays in long-term contact with many talents.

Mastercard

This year, Mastercard is a partner of Berlinale Talents for the third time in a row and is also facilitating the Talents Footprints – Mastercard Enablement Programme for the initiative's 20th anniversary. Almost 500 talents were able to apply for funding to implement their film-related social projects. A jury of renowned film industry experts and Jeannette Liendo, Mastercard's Senior VP of Marketing and Communications, is currently selecting three filmmakers and their projects and initiatives from the submissions, which Mastercard will support financially as well as through mentorship.
