Back in 2016, Louis the gregarious magpie and his anxious friend Luca the hedgehog won the hearts of Generation audiences. Their latest adventure revolves around nothing less than conquering the moon. 50 years after the legendary lunar landing, it falls on them to represent Norway in an international race to yet again take a second huge step on its surface. The entire community of Flåklypa is captivated, watching live news reports of the nerve-racking mission with bated breath. Expectations are high, and some have their own plans for this trip on which the astronauts seem to be carrying a little extra baggage. A tale full of imaginative detail, endearingly headstrong characters and charmingly ironic commentary on current political events.

Rasmus A. Sivertsen

He is one of Norway’s most renowned and prolific animation directors and has been making commercials, short films, music videos, TV series and feature films for many years. He co-directed Captain Sabertooth and was head animator on Gurin with the Foxtail. His works as a director include Ploddy the Police Car, Two Buddies and a Badger and In the Forest of Huckybucky. His work most recently screened in the Generation section with Solan og Ludvig: Herfra til Flåklypa (Louis & Nolan – The Big Cheese Race) in 2016.
