The most climate-friendly way to travel to the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival is by train. For the first time, in cooperation with the Deutsche Bahn, a special ticket will be offered for the Berlinale 2012 that is not only good for the environment but also for your wallet: between February 7 and 19, 2012, a return ticket to Berlin from any train station in Germany will cost only 99 euros (2nd class) or 159 euros (1st class). If you book your ticket online you can save another 10 euros.
Beginning November 8, 2011, the Berlinale Ticket will be available for booking.
Within the measures it is taking to reduce CO2 emissions, the Berlin International Film Festival wants to give its guests the opportunity to actively contribute to environmental protection with the Berlinale Ticket.
