Les vacances de Monsieur Hulot

Mr. Hulot's Holiday

Die Ferien des Monsieur Hulot

## ## ##
Mr. Hulot goes on holiday. Ignoring all the city traffic thundering past him, he takes his seat at the wheel of his little old-fashioned car and sets off, joyfully anticipating his holiday. The scriptwriters have woven a garland of hilarious effects and incidents around his car trip, his arrival at the small seaside hotel and his entire holiday. With a variety of bizarre activities and his involuntarily comical behaviour, Mr. Hulot causes total confusion at the seaside health resort and upsets the other guests in the process. Time and again, however, he manages to extricate himself from even the dodgiest of situations.
