The Stalin That Was Played By Me

Mein Stalin
Evgenij Dzhugashvili is the spitting image of his grandfather, Josef Stalin. Evgenij admires his grandfather - even though the dictator never wanted to meet him and sacrificed his own son, Evgenij's father, in the Second World War. However, it would seem that Evgenij's own personality has been completely eradicated. A young Dutch director traces this man's fascinating family history, deliberately concealing her own Jewish roots. In this way, the film also ponders the question of how far you should renounce who you are in order to pursue your goals.
