Due to the recent passing of Hildegard Knef, the Berlinale will pay tribute to this international star. A number of selected films will be screened in her honour from February 8 to February 14.
On February 8, the Governing Mayor of Berlin, Klaus Wowereit, the Director of the Berlinale, Dieter Kosslick and the Director of the Berlin Film Museum, Hans Helmut Prinzler, are hosting a reception in the Berlin Film Museum in commemoration of Hildegard Knef.
From February 8 films will be shown daily in honour of this unforgetable artist in CinemaxX 4. Accreditated journalists can collect ticktes for the films at the Press Ticket Counter in the Grand Hyatt, Marlene-Dietrich Platz.
