La reine des renards

The Queen of the Foxes | Die Fuchskönigin
The queen is the saddest member of the pack. To cheer her up with flattering phrases, the other foxes sift through people's rubbish night after night, in search of unsent love letters. Alas, they never feature odes to furry ears. In this hand-drawn fable from Marina Rosset, though their efforts initially prove fruitless, it’s the thought that counts in the end. Unlikely cupids, the sly animals ultimately succeed in bringing together more than just people.
