Following the Competition screening of Ixcanul, director Jayro Bustamante and his cast and crew take questions from the audience. The film is about María, a 17-year-old Kaqchikel Maya girl who lives with her parents on a coffee plantation and is destined to marry the foreman. After a failed bid for freedom, she begins to see her own world and its culture through new eyes. Hosted by Ute Soldierer.
Visitors with a ticket for the prior Competition screening have priority entry to the Q&A.
