Snowblind

If it weren’t for the music played by the band KISS, Jack wouldn’t be able to stand life in the countryside with his parents. His room is plastered with posters of this bold and brassy glam rock group. Taking his cue from his idols, at the weekend he paints his pensive face with gaudy zigzags and plays his electric guitar at an improvised outdoor party. But Jack’s longing to be loved is thwarted; moreover his father’s secret causes a rift in the family. Set in the late seventies, Snowblind provides a richly atmospheric short portrait of a stage in life that is as difficult as it is intense.
