Stick Climbing

What begins as a pleasant walk turns into a strange rock climb. The camera, which until this point gently meanders through a typical village scenario, now clings on to a wooden rod to follow the breakneck climb up a sheer rock face. Once the destination has been reached, the camera reveals a view of the beginning of the tour: the village. It’s only been a few film minutes since we were there, and yet it feels like it could be an eternity away, far below the rock face.
