It’s an extensive film cosmos on the topic of limited space, in which hallucinated and remembered urban landscapes appear, thought plays, traumata, textual landscapes whiz by, self-encounters in dreams, wormholes leading to other times and realities; in which the first-person narrator is leading a ghostlike existence in his hideaway, the idea of a hollow earth, evil water, strange matter, Peter Hein recounting Plato's cave analogy, a cinematic self-portrait, all of the above in palimpsest-like repainted images, oscillating between concrete and abstract vision…
