Maurice is taking his wife and children for a spin in the car when he suddenly has to stop at a petrol station to fill up. When he comes to pay he realises with horror that he has left his wallet at home. The pump attendant won’t stand for any nonsense and insists that Maurice leaves a suitable deposit. Maurice offers him all sorts of things – until he suddenly hits upon an absurd solution to the problem . . .
