Online Market Badge
Film industry representatives have the opportunity to apply for an Online Market Badge for the European Film Market (March 1-5, 2021).
Before applying, please carefully read the participation guidelines.
Benefits
The Online Market Badge grants access to the following:
- EFM Industry Sessions (selected industry sessions will be limited in capacity and / or by pre-registration or invitation)
- Online Market Screenings* (At the discretion of the rights holders, access to online screenings may be limited to selected groups within EFM participants.)
- Online Market Screenings* of films in the official 2021 Selection (as with regular Market Screenings, the rights holders may restrict access to selected groups within the EFM participants at their own discretion).
- Selected events in the Berlinale Co-Production Market: Case Studies, the VFF Talent Highlight Pitch & Award and awards presentations (the ARTEKino International Prize, the Eurimages Co-Production Development Award)
- EFM Participants Guide % Event Schedule
* = The Online Market Screenings are programmed according to the established timetable and can be accessed within a window of 120 minutes from the specified starting time. All market participants determine their own time zone.
An Online Market Badge holder can be granted Buyers status. The Buyers status is not for sale but will be granted in limited number by the EFM. You are considered for a Buyers status if you order an Online Market Badge and select "Acquisitions (…)" as your "Field of Activity" on the application form.

The Online Market Badge is non-refundable.
Requirements
The European Film Market is one of the most important industry platforms for world sales agents, distribution companies, TV broadcasters, streaming services, film promotion agencies, film commissions, funding bodies, festival programmers, cinema operators and producers.
A precondition for an EFM Registration is proof of your current professional activity as representative of the film industry, a cultural institution or another film festival. When applying, please provide your professional supporting documents in accordance with the accreditation requirements.
To review your application, we require the following information:
- Your company’s field of activities
Please provide a company profile with a detailed list of recent projects. - Your area of responsibility
Please provide your position in the company.
You can provide evidence of your professional affiliation/activity by including a link to an up-to-date website or by uploading relevant documents (in German or English).
Please note that we do not provide an unlimited number of accreditations to any given company. We recommend that you register staff members in the order of your company's priorities. Only staff members with permanent positions in your company can be accredited.
To review your application, we require the following information:
- A CV including a detailed filmography
Festival selections, awards and any funding received should be included in the filmography. Your projects and activities during the last three years are decisive for an accreditation.
You can provide evidence of your professional activity by including a link to an up-to-date website or by uploading relevant documents (in German or English).
You can also apply for an Online Market Badge without an "Association Code", which will be checked by us for the accreditation requirements.
