HUB75 – The Berlinale Festival Center

TALKS. MEETINGS. CONNECTIONS.

For the 75th anniversary of the Berlin International Film Festival, a new centrepiece is being built at Potsdamer Platz, right next to the red carpet of the Berlinale Palast: the HUB75. This Festival Center is an inviting place for encounters and exchange. Various events for audiences and film industry professionals will take place here every day.

Opening Hours Feb 14 – 21, 2025

10:00–12:00
BERLINALE FILM TALKS. Public event. Admission free. Limited capacity.

To celebrate 75 years of the Berlinale, HUB75 will be hosting talks and events with free admission for the general public every morning. Organised by the Berlinale, these live presentations will turn a spotlight on members of the casts and crews from the festival films and delve into other topics in the programme.

The highlights of our morning talks include various Directors’ Exchanges; the new Perspectives section will be holding conversations; one morning slot is focusing on the Body Horror genre, another throws the spotlight on the craft of film music. And Deutschlandfunk Kultur will be recording various radio programmes of conversations with filmmakers in front of a live audience.

We are looking forward to welcoming some outstanding guests to the HUB75 stage, including Nina Hoss, Tom Tykwer, Dascha Dauenhauer, Lemohang Jeremiah Mosese, Rosa von Praunheim, Ina Weisse and Jan-Ole Gerster.
