Bored of his retail job, Matthew manages to infiltrate the inner circle of a rising pop star, Oliver, and glories in his new status as an indispensable member of the entourage. But when Matthew realises how easy he is to replace – or even worse, that he is not as important as he believed – he will go to any lengths to stay relevant to Oliver and his crew.

Alex Russell

The director is co-executive producer on season 2 of the Emmy-winning series Beef and, most recently, supervising producer on season 3 of the likewise Emmy-winning series The Bear. He also worked on the first season of Beef and the second season of The Bear. For the episode of the latter entitled “Forks”, he received a nomination in the category of Best Episodic Comedy from the Writers Guild of America. His other credits include the series Interior Chinatown and the comedy series Dave.
