Boyfriend Hartmut has become a bother. So she seeks distance. Since she doesn’t want to leave him, she tries to force him into a separation – “let go”, “you need to disconnect”. Artistically composed film footage and staged photographs paint a portrait of young people who want to make sure their feelings are sincere, as the Kinks sing “come on now”, “we better go”.
