Norma DIN works at the Patent Office. Her life is governed by her day-to-day work in an open-plan office, by the totally abstract and lifeless manner in which inventions are presented to her and, on the other hand, by the magic and promises of happiness contained in the descriptions on the bags and boxes holding the inventions. The two novelties she is shown today have a lot do to with her private life.
