Balance

Five figures are balancing on a platform floating freely in space. When one of the figures hauls a mysterious box up on to the platform, the fight for the “treasure” begins. Four figures fall, leaving one alone with the (useless) box. The Lauenstein brothers’ parable is reminiscent of the Zagreb School and is open to many different interpretations, not least political ones. "Balance" can thus be seen as an allegory for the fragile distribution of power during the Cold War.
