Bedouin Sand | Beduinen Sand
Roy and his parents have spent all day on the hot coast of the Sinai peninsular and now it’s time to go home. While Roy’s father is packing up their belongings, a Bedouin boy appears wanting to sell Roy a bottle of coloured sand. Roy’s father sends the Bedouin packing in and then makes Roy
a vague promise in order to get him into the car. On the way home, Roy insists upon his Dad honouring his promise. This leads the family into a prohibited military zone where they find themselves in a highly precarious
situation . . .
