Candelaria

Synopsis (momentan nur in Englisch verfügbar)
It’s the 90s and the world is changing dramatically. Cuba is drowning in hunger, cigars and rum. In this grim environment, the lives of couple Candelaria (64), and Victor Hugo (63), who stay together out of inertia, take a surprising turn. One day Candelaria finds a Hi8 video camera at the hotel where she works. Through its lens, Candelaria and Victor Hugo see, caress, and love each other once more. But this unexpected happiness is only the bittersweet beginning of the end. Candelaria: a tragicomedy that moves to the rhythm of the Cuban son.
