Star composer Howard Shore has achieved worldwide renown for his work on such films as Hugo and The Aviator, The Lord Of The Rings, Se7en and The Silence Of The Lambs. He has scored 15 films by David Cronenberg, including Maps To The Stars. Recipient of three Academy Awards and multiple Golden Globes and Grammies, Shore will elaborate on how sound and score shape the visual onscreen cinematic world and the spaces in which stories unfold. He'll also shed light on the working relationship between director and composer, as well as how sound and music can create a “meta space” between the works of a trilogy or a director’s oeuvre. In cooperation with Dolby®Laboratories.
