The Berlinale Kindergarten has established itself as an important service by now. Accredited Festival parents can leave their children in the care of trained and loving educators throughout the day and relax, while enjoying the Berlinale programme.
Additionally “regular” festival visitors can leave their children under supported guidance when they present a Berlinale cinema ticket, which is valid for the duration of the time in which the children will be taken care of.
The service is made possible through a co-operation with the FRÖBEL-Kindergarten Stepping Stones which is within a 15 minutes walking distance from the festival center.
The FRÖBEL-Kindergarten at Potsdamer Platz is bilingual (English-German) in conception. The team of educators consists of native English speakers as well as German staff with strong English skills.
