Train Stations

“Hauptbahnhof” (Main Station):
Taxi: 5 minutes to Potsdamer Platz

“Ostbahnhof”:
S-Bahn: 15 minutes (change at Bahnhof Friedrichstraße)
Taxi: 10-20 minutes to Potsdamer Platz

Airports

Tegel in the northwest:
Express bus service or
S 41/42 to Jungfernheide then U 7 to Jakob-Kaiser-Platz and Bus X9 or 109 to Tegel Airport

Schönefeld in the southeast:
Express bus service or
S 9 train and regional trains

Depending of traffic, travel time from both airports to the city centre/Potsdamer Platz ranges from 25 to 45 minutes.

By Car

Via the A10 motorway/Berlin Ring,
from the west, south and north take A115 or A110 and follow signs to “Berlin-Zentrum West”
from the east follow signs to “Zentrum” to the city centre/Berlin Mitte, where “Potsdamer Platz” will be signposted.

By Boat

The closest place to Potsdamer Platz to tie up your boat is the Kulturforum quay on the Landwehrkanal
