The International Jury, presided over by Werner Herzog, will decide who is to take home the Golden Bear and the Silver Bears as well as the Alfred Bauer Prize in the Competition of the Berlinale 2010 

26 films will participate in the Competition programme of the 60th Berlin International Film Festival. In addition to the seven titles announced earlier (see press releases from December 15, 2009), a further 18 films have now been confirmed 

The 60th Berlin International Film Festival will kick off with the world premiere of the Chinese Competition film Tuan Yuan (Apart Together) in the Berlinale Palast on February 11, 2010 

The first seven titles for the Competition of the 60th Berlin International Film Festival have been confirmed. The films selected so far are from Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, France, Germany, India, Iran, Turkey, the UK and the USA 

Werner Herzog, one of the most important filmmakers of Auteur Cinema, will be the President of the International Jury at the Berlinale 2010. As one of the most significant personalities of New German Cinema, he has influenced an entire generation of filmmakers
