Berlinale: Berlinale Open House

Berlinale Open House

The Berlinale Open House programme in the Audi Berlinale Lounge represents a festival experience beyond the cinema hall. Cineastes, industry professionals and journalists alike are welcome to witness fascinating talks and radio interviews just across from the Red Carpet on Marlene Dietrich Platz. Experts will discuss interesting topics such as science fiction and virtual reality; actors, editors and directors will provide an insight into their way of working, and guests of the Berlinale sections will introduce their films and projects. The Berlinale Open House programme will be rounded off by a film quiz as well as live concerts and DJ sets in the evenings – so it’s well worth dropping by! Entry is free to the Lounge which has room for 150 guests, admission depending on capacity.

Detailed information about individual Berlinale Open House events can be found via the programme search and in the programme leaflet (1.1 MB).
