Dolby supports the festival with technology and technical know-how. The temporary installation of digital technology for D-cinema screenings is made possible with the support of Dolby. Dolby helps by providing the Dolby Digital Cinema System and Digital Media Adapters. Dolby also gives technical support for 3D screenings at the festival. Dolby makes it possible for the winners of the Score Competition at the Berlinale Talent Campus to travel to Los Angeles to visit some of the most important sound studios. In addition, there will be high-quality Dolby Reference Monitors in use at the Campus Post-Production Workshops for the first time.
