Thanks to the festival's partnership with ZDF, the TV presence of the Berlinale was expanded significantly since 2006. With its partner channel 3sat, ZDF again provided extensive coverage of the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival. The opening gala, the closing awards ceremony, and other festival highlights were documented in various broadcast formats. Through the pool management of ZDF, other TV channels and journalists were provided with Berlinale footage.
As an additional service we provided live video streams on our website. All ceremonies in the Berlinale Palast, the arrival of guests to the film premieres in the Competition as well as all press conferences in the press conference room in the Hyatt Hotel were broadcast live over the Internet and archived for later viewing.
