Meditations on a Name

It’s a hot summer’s day and Wattle is out and about with her hippy father. She finds it hard to put up with his idiosyncratic behaviour. He’s always mumbling some mantra or other and, once every hour, he has to stop and meditate on the edge of the road. But the worst thing is the name he gave his daughter – Wattle. It’s high time they had a chat about that.
